New Server UP and Going
Well I finally got the server migrated from work's laptop to a Celeron 400. It's running RedHat 9. I have webserver and e-mail on the same machine, along with this blog. I finally decided on a domain, www.supchurch.org instead of the subdomain it was on s2u4me.dyndns.org. I still am using dyndns.org for my CustomDNS service. But I've got my domain now.

New Robotics Project

Well we now have our new robotics challenge. It's a block stacker. It has to go around a specified area looking for the blocks, pick them up and deliver to a specified corner based on color. Doesn't sound too hard. We decided to use a CMUCam connected to a HandyBoard. |

This might turn out to be a mistake, but if it works, future projects/challenges will be much easier. We successfully have the camera running with the java GUI that is provided. We have connected the camer to the HandyBoard successfully. We are able to communicate both ways between the two. Next is to generate some code to control the recognition of the blocks. Then it'll be robot building time. |
